Shoulder Pain

As a Chiro Clinic in Kingston, we often see patients with various Shoulder Pain Syndromes.

Shoulder pain affects almost a quarter of people in the Australian community, with a significant detrimental impact on health-related quality of life and physical functioning. [1]

Shoulder pain can be extremely debilitating, and can prevent patients from being able to carry out work duties, enjoy recreation or participate in activities of daily living. With shoulder pain syndromes recurrence rates are as high as 25%, and if left untreated, up to 50% of patients report worsening pain or recurrence after 12 months. [2]
